Because of the COVID pandemic the Thai government has issued new requirements on health insurance. The insurance policy can be obtained from domestic or foreign insurers but the policy must include:
- 100,000 USD medical expenditure
- COVID-19 Coverage
- Out-patient coverage of no less than 40,000 Baht
- In-patient coverage of no less than 400,000 Baht
